President Bush Warns Against Price-Gouging

The President has issued a public warning against price-gouging in the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. In an interview aired on national television today, the President said that looting and price-gouging of gasoline and other goods, services, and contributions would not be tolerated.

The White House will report on the state of efforts to aid victims of Katrina later today.
