Fifteen hundred people doffed their knickers in the name of art on a recent Sunday.
The event occurred in the city of Newcastle, in northeast England.
Famed artist Spencer Tunick, the organizer of the event, took photographs of the assembled, pink crowd, some of whom were indubitably feeling the bite of the chilly weather.
If you enjoy the sight of naked strangers, crowded together in public places, then Mr. Tunick is the artist for you.
For others, it might be said, the emperor has no clothes.
