Scientists using Hawaii's Keck II observatory report that Titan's southern atmosphere appears devoid of liquid compounds but did not rule out the possibility that its north may contain seas of methane or other hydrocarbons.
According to various reports, despite ample indications of methane and ethane in the moon's atmosphere, the compounds may have evaporated from its surface.
