CNN Suspends Robert Novak

Robert Novak, a commentator who made news when his article on Valerie Plame was accused by critics of blowing her cover as a CIA operative, was suspended by CNN yesterday after an on-air outburst on its Inside Politics program.

Novak lost his CNN venues, Crossfire and The Capital Gang, when both shows were recently cancelled by the news network. However, CNN has defended its employment of Novak despite the Plame controversy.
